You have 30 days from delivery to decide the S60 is not your machine. Not 30 days to keep it sealed in the box — 30 days to ride it.
Ride it up to 30 miles
You get 30 miles to decide — about one full charge of real riding, not a lab figure. Thirty miles is the testing limit, and testing it is the entire point of it.
That is enough to learn what a spec sheet cannot tell you — how it climbs your hill, how it rides your road surface, whether the deck fits your stance, what the range really is with your weight on it. If the answer is no, send it back.
We read the mileage when it arrives — off the machine’s own recorded data, in the same inspection that checks the serial number. You do not have to prove anything or install anything. At 30.0 miles or less, your return is approved on condition alone.
Over 30 miles, the same 30 days still apply and the machine can still come back — up to a point. Past 30 we deduct for the distance, and there is a mileage ceiling past which we cannot take it at all. The whole schedule is below, and there is nothing in it you cannot work out before you ride.
What we need back
- The original box, and the foam inside it. A machine this size with a lithium battery cannot be shipped without them, and a replacement carton is not something we can source. Keep the box for 30 days.
- Everything that came in it — charger, six screws, hex wrench, manual.
- The same machine. We record your unit’s serial number against your order the day it ships, and we check it against the serial that comes back.
- Normal condition for a scooter that has been ridden. Scuffs from use are fine and expected. Crash damage, water damage, or missing parts are not.
What it costs
Return shipping is a flat $225, deducted from your refund. At 30.0 miles or less that is the only thing that comes off — no handling fee, no fee for having opened the box, and nothing for the miles you rode.
You do not pay anything up front — it comes out of what you already paid.
Where the $225 comes from. Your S60 ships in a carton measuring 51 × 26 × 10 inches and weighing 90.39 pounds. On 26 July 2026 we quoted ground service from three points in the country back to us:

The flat rate sits below the worst of those. If you are far away, we absorb the difference. It is a flat number so you can decide today instead of waiting for us to quote you.
The mileage schedule
Past 30 miles we deduct for the distance. Here is the whole thing, before you ride a single mile.
Every line of it is marked and you can see all of them from where you are standing now. Thirty miles free. Then some buffer room, because people get carried away and that should not cost much. Then a bigger step. Then one last exit, which still gets you your money back. Right up to that last exit, sending it back is still on the table — the price changes, the option does not. There is exactly one place on this page where the answer is no, and you can see it from here too.

The 20% replaces the $50. It never stacks on top of it.
The 20% is 20% of what you actually paid. On a $1,499 S60 that is $299.80. If you bought a bundle, it is 20% of the bundle price.
Why the schedule is shaped like this
Nothing on it is a surprise, and that is the whole design. You should be able to weigh this before you buy, not discover it afterwards in a refund that came back smaller than you expected. So here is what every line is actually for.
Why 30 miles is the testing limit. Thirty miles is about one full charge of real riding — a commute and back, or a long afternoon. It is enough to learn how it climbs your hill, how it handles your road surface, and whether you actually want the thing. That is a real test, not a peek, and we are not going to charge you for taking the test we told you to take. At 30.0 miles or less the machine can go back for any reason at all, or for no reason.
Why return shipping is the one thing we ask you to carry. We paid to get it to you and we did not put that on your bill. Getting a 90-pound box back across the country is the single biggest cost in a return, and it is the one part of this we ask you to cover — not a fee we invented, just the freight, at a flat rate, with the carrier quotes printed above so you can check us. That is the only obligation the first 30 miles puts on you.
Why we do not call it a restocking fee. Because that is not what happened. “Restocking” describes something going on in our warehouse, and nothing happened in our warehouse. What happened is that you rode it — and a scooter that has been ridden 40 miles is not new, cannot honestly be sold to the next person as new, and carries a battery that then has to be stored or disposed of. That is a real cost and we would rather name it accurately than dress it in a word that sounds like paperwork.
Why there is buffer room past 30. Because people get carried away. You take the long way home, you are enjoying it, you are not watching the odometer — and none of that is something we want to punish. So the first ten miles past the limit are priced by the mile: mile 31 costs $3. You get room to be human in. What we will not do is pretend that room is free, because it is not.
Why there is $50 more at 40 miles. Forty miles is past one charge. To get there you plugged it in, waited for it, and rode it again — which is a decision rather than an overshoot. The machine has a service life on it by then, and the step up says so.
Why 50 miles is a big step, and why we are telling you about it here. At 50 miles the deduction becomes 20% of what you paid, and the difference between 49.9 miles and 50.0 miles is about $250. That is a real jump. We are not going to bury it, because the only thing that makes a jump like that fair is that you could see it coming — and you can. It is on this page before you buy, and the machine counts to the tenth of a mile the whole time you are riding it.
Why 50.0 to 50.2 is the last exit and not the end. Fifty miles is the ceiling, but the door does not slam at 50.0. There are another 1,056 feet after it, and inside those you can still send the machine back and still get most of your money. It is there for the honest overshoot — the last block home, the turn you had to take, the moment you look down and realise. It is not a grace period and it is not a loophole. Nobody rides a fifth of a mile past a number they already know by accident.
And past 50.2 miles. That is the one place on this page where the answer is no, and by then you have gone past every marker on it — each one printed here before you bought, each one costing more than the last, and the final one still handing your money back. We do not think that is a hard line to defend.
But write to us anyway. We will not take the machine back for a refund at that point. If what you actually want is a different scooter rather than your money back, that is a conversation we would rather have than a door we would rather close, and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do about it.
How to start one
- Email us with your order number and, if something is wrong, a photo or a short video.
- We send a return label. We book the freight on our account and email you the label, so the pickup is not yours to arrange. One question comes with it: has the battery been damaged — crashed, dropped hard, swollen, punctured, or hot to the touch after a fault? If it has, the scooter has to be packed and shipped a different way, and we will tell you exactly how. Either way, wait for our label before you send it.
- Pack it in the original carton and take the handlebar off — it comes off with the hex wrench that shipped with the scooter, and the machine does not fit the box any other way. The label tells you where to leave it or when it will be collected.
- We inspect it when it lands, usually within three business days, and tell you what we found.
- Refund goes back to your original payment method, less the $225 and whatever the mileage schedule above comes to for your recorded mileage, within five business days of the inspection clearing. We show you that arithmetic before we run it. Your bank decides how long it takes to appear after that.
If it arrives damaged or does not work
That is not a return. That is on us, and it works differently: we pay the freight both ways, and you get a replacement or a full refund with nothing deducted.
There is a deadline for telling us, and what to photograph before you open the carton. Both are on the shipping policy, stated once.
Do not throw the packaging away before you have looked the machine over.
After 30 days
Returns close, but the machine is still covered. The warranty runs on its own terms and its own process — email us and we will send you the details.
What we do not take back
- Machines that have been crashed, submerged, taken apart, or modified.
- Machines returned without the original carton and foam.
- Machines returned without a return label from us.
- A different serial number than the one we shipped you.
- Machines with more than 50.2 recorded miles on them.
Order cancellations
Before it ships: cancel any time, full refund, no fee.
After it ships: it becomes a return, on the terms above. If you refuse the delivery instead, the freight still happened in both directions, so the $225 still applies.
Questions before you buy are the cheapest kind. If you are not sure the S60 is right for you, ask us first — we would rather talk you out of it now than take it back later.
