Shipping policy
Shipping
Shipping is free, to every address we can reach in the lower 48. There is no threshold to hit and no option to upgrade — there is one way we ship a scooter and you are already getting it.
How long it actually takes
Two separate clocks, and we show you both, because “5–9 days” tells you nothing about which part you are waiting on.
| Stage | How long | What is happening |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Processing | 1–2 business days | Your payment clears, your unit is picked from the warehouse, its serial number is recorded against your order, and it is handed to the carrier. |
| 2. Transit | 2–7 business days | Ground freight. Two days if you are on the West Coast, closer to seven on the East Coast. |
Business days exclude weekends and holidays. An order placed Friday afternoon is very unlikely to move before Monday, and we would rather say that than let you watch a tracking page all weekend.
We ship once payment clears, not the moment you click buy. On a machine at this price that step protects both of us, and it is usually same-day or next-day.
Tracking
You get a tracking number by email the moment the label is created, and it will be a live number, not a placeholder. Give the carrier 24 hours to scan the first movement — a number that shows nothing on day one is normal and does not mean the box is lost.
If anything stalls, we would rather tell you before you ask.
Signature required
Someone has to sign for it. This is a 90-pound box worth $1,499, and it is not going to sit on your step waiting to be taken.
That means someone needs to be there. It is a small inconvenience we are choosing on your behalf, because the alternative — a stolen scooter, a claim, and weeks without the thing you bought — is a far worse day.
When it arrives
Photograph the box before you open it. All four sides, the top, and the shipping label. Thirty seconds.
Freight damage is not always visible until the machine is out of the carton, and by then the evidence is in pieces on your floor. Those five photos are what makes a damage claim straightforward instead of a debate. Most people will never need them.
If something is wrong, tell us within 7 days of delivery. That is the only deadline on this page.
Arrival damage is not a return — we pay the freight both ways and you get a replacement or a full refund with nothing deducted. Details are in the returns policy.
Where we cannot ship yet
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We also cannot deliver to PO boxes.
This one is worth explaining rather than burying. The S60 carries a 923.52 watt-hour lithium battery. Above 100 watt-hours, a battery is a regulated shipment, and the practical routes to those destinations are by air — where regulated lithium is heavily restricted. It is not a cost decision and it is not about demand. We would rather tell you now than take your money and cancel later.
The military-address one we especially do not like, and if a compliant route opens up, we will take it.
Who carries it
FedEx or UPS ground, whichever is better on the day for your address. Not USPS — their weight ceiling is 70 pounds and your S60 ships in a 90.39-pound carton, so it is not an option we get to choose.
Returns
Thirty days, and you can ride it up to 30 miles before you decide. At 30.0 miles or less, return shipping is the only thing that comes out of your refund — a flat rate, and nothing on top of it. Past 30 miles we deduct for the distance on a published schedule, and there is a mileage ceiling past which we cannot take the machine back at all. The flat rate, the carrier quotes behind it, and the whole mileage schedule are on the returns policy.
If your address is unusual — a gated community, a walk-up, a job site, somewhere a 90-pound box is going to be a problem — tell us before you order and we will work out how to get it to you.
